Lubbock community members joined investment and development partners today to celebrate the ground breaking of “19West” –the newest apartment community in Lubbock, Texas.

Paul Stell, Managing Director of Stellar Development Company, a Lubbock based company kicked off the ceremony by talking about the impact this development will have on the increasing need for high quality rental housing in Lubbock.

“This project will provide much needed high quality rental housing in the far west corridor of Lubbock along 19^th Street which connects Levelland to Lubbock. We feel residents working in both cities will enjoy calling 19West home.” said Paul Stell, Managing Director of Stellar Development Company.

Located on Hwy 114, or more commonly known as west 19^th street close to Upland Dr., 19West will consist of apartment units located on 3 acres. The units will be 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms with open floorplans, island kitchens and small backyards. The property will include a clubhouse, pool, cabanas, outdoor grills, fitness center, business center, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

According to Principal and Development Manager for Stellar, Drew Gray “This project will provide many luxury and high-quality amenities along with a wide array of floorplans appealing to a majority of renters.”

Many partners played a role in developing this project. Partners in the project include: AIM Bank, REES Architects, AMD Engineering and Stellar Construction Company.
